Cinespace x Studio Babelsberg Night on the occasion of the 75th Berlinale International Film Festival welcomed filmmakers, artists, and industry leaders from across the globe to Soho House Berlin on February 14, 2025, to celebrate the power of storytelling. Fittingly held on Valentine’s Day, the evening embraced the shared passion that unites the film industry under the theme “For the Love of Film”. With the support of Don Julio and Mastercard, the evening was a tribute to the enduring legacy of filmmaking and the moments that make it truly priceless.

From the very beginning, the atmosphere at Soho House was filled with a shared love for cinema. New projects were envisioned, past successes celebrated, and inspiring conversations sparked about the future of film, surrounded by legendary directors, actors, and creatives — including Lana Wachowski, Toby Onwumere, Aaron Altaras, Anika Decker, Volker Schlöndorff, Julia von Heinz, Jeanne Goursaud, David Schütter, Lars Kraume, Detlev Buck, Malick Bauer, Florence Kasumba, Hannah Herzsprung, Klara Lange, Dani Levy, Oliver Masucci, Lea van Acken, Sabin Tambrea and Pheline Roggan.
More than just a gathering, this evening was a tribute to the visionaries who bring stories to life with passion and dedication. Honoring the rich heritage of filmmaking while embracing new ideas, the Studio Babelsberg Night once again became a highlight of the Berlinale.
