12/07/2010

Roman Polanski’s The Ghost Writer won six prizes at the 23rd European Film Awards gala in Tallinn, Estonia, on Saturday night: Best Film, Best Director (Roman Polanski), Best Screenwriter (Roman Polanski, Robert Harris), Best Production Designer (Albrecht Konrad), Best Actor (Ewan McGregor), and Best Composer (Alexandre Desplat). While the story of the political thriller is set in England and the USA, the film itself was shot entirely in Germany and produced by Studio Babelsberg.

We have earned international recognition, as the film, which is set in the USA and in England, was completely shot in Germany on locations like Sylt and Usedom as well as in the Babelsberg studios. A great performance regarding locations and production design.
